ThyssenKrupp Steelcom supplied E+S double slide rail system linear shoring which were first installed for the Stage 2 of the project. This involved digging a deep trench and installing about 139m x1350 large concrete stormwater pipes and pits in an average trench of 4.5m deep. This will significantly improve drainage from the Central Business District (CBD) in Brisbane Street to the Macquarie River identified as commercial area at risk of flood levels of up to 90cm during a 1-in-100-year storm.
